North Carolina universities offer a number of substantial Jewish studies programs. These include undergraduate minors, certificates of study and major studies as well as graduate degrees. Many of these programs have increased in size and scope in just the last few years. Guest lectures, performances, film screenings and discussions are often open to the general public. Some programs have begun to record lectures on video and these are available on their website. Several universities offer special adult education seminars. We will try to list public events on our calendar, but for more extensive offerings, click on the individual university Jewish Studies website.
